Every day we are being asked for a review.
Sometimes its for a product we have purchased online, but most of the time its from a business asking for one.
Do you always leave a review? If not, why not?
Every time we process a customer order or make a delivery, we ask the customer if they would not mind leaving us a review. Good or Bad.
Most of the time they don’t, for whatever reason and that’s their prerogative.
Let me tell you why we ask for a review:
- To find out what we are doing right.
- To find out what we are doing wrong.
- To get more brand awareness.
- To gain credibility with the public.
For us, the last one on the list is the most important reason for asking for a review.
We are a small fish in a big pond, so people might ask themselves why they should choose us over another business. CREDIBILITY!
The more people that have used us and have been happy with our products, prices and our service, then the more credible our business becomes. People know that we are not a fly by night business and that we someone the can TRUST and deal with.
We fully appreciate that reviews can be used for promoting your business and we do that. However, what we are promoting is the trust that people have gained in using our service.
TRUST is important to us. If people trust us, they will most likely use us again or refer us to as friend.
This helps us grow our business because more people will use a trusted, recommended business.
We are not here to make a fast buck and move on. We want to build a relationship with our customers, or as we like to call them, our Crafty Nation.
Our future depends on the longevity of our relationship with our Crafty Nation and we can only do that by continuing to provide first class products at a first class prices with a first class service.
We can only continue to do that if we get feedback from reviews.
Every day is a school day and we are always learning, always striving to be a better business.
