RAER Blended Scotch Whisky Oloroso Expression is a full-bodied, unpeated whisky that has been aged in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks from the Jerez region of Andalucía in Spain. With all the sweetness of PX, and a drier champagne like finish, this rich, full-bodied whisky will not disappoint.
It has a nutty aroma with rich notes of dried fruits, and on the palate, it offers an intense dark fruitiness with hints of banana, caramel, and vanilla essence. The finish is a lingering one with satisfying suggestions of ripe raisin and juicy fruitcake.
This whisky expression is best enjoyed neat and at room temperature, and is recommended to be paired with a raisin and nut mix along with a couple of squares of dark chocolate.
